Arrow I know but....

I know I will probably get roasted for this but I was watching Motorweek last night and they reviewed the Suburu Imprezzia(sp?) WRX. WOW is all I can say. For 23-24 Grand you get a car that can hang with the Audi S4 and most likely toast a TL-S. The thing does 0-60 in less than 6 seconds and has excellent handling due to all wheel drive. This information is based on MotorTrends tests which some people on here tend to think are exuberant figures. Regardless, this car seems to pack a lot of punch for the money. Anyone test drive this car yet... just curious. Final... There are a lot of cool cars out there but I think this one really breaks the mold.

When I first heard about the WRX, I thought this is the car for me! Actually, the relatively low price made me a bit weary believe it or not. The performance will be out of this world, but that's it! Although I have not test driven one, I know it's small, loud, and much less refined than the TL-S and not as well built. It probably competes much better with the new Acura RSX (Integra replacement). It's 7-8K less than the TL-S for a reason!

It is fast, but ugly as hell. The blue color is not even a nice shade of blue. I'm biased to the ABP of the TL.

But the WRX does have it's performance potential. They already have a SC for it $3000. But with that, it can kick some serious butt!

But, that is all it seems to be good for IMO, going fast. Where is the comfort? But I also didn't like the latest Civic Sedan either, Butt-ugly tail end. But ppls still bought that thing.

The WRX may not be our style, but it is fast, it will sell, and many different ppl will buy it. From the young kids to the wanna be young kids in their late 30's and 40's.

SC for WRX?? Isn't WRX Turbo Charged?? I think the SC is for RS models with 2.5L H4 engines...

My bad, I meant Ball-Bearing turbos. Upgrade to the already existing twin turbo!

That Subaru is TINY... sure its a fast sports car, but a luxury ride it most definitely is not.

There's no need to compare that with the TL. It's just in a lower class.

Unhappy

Someone in here has already test drove one. Said it was a dog before the turbo kicks in, and there was quite a lot of lag. He said he wasn't impressed with car over all.

After seeing the silver and blue ones in the very very cool commercials --> I was really interested in seeing one up front, in person --> I did today -- Not very attractive, and MUCH MUCH smaller than they made it seem in the commercials. Oh my God! is this thing small!! And as far as some who've compared it to the rocket punch of an M3 --> dream on .. it's just a Soo-buh-roo ..

And it can run circles around my TL-S anyday, don't matter to me, I'll just silently dust that Acura emblem on my steering wheel as I cruise along.
