How do they perform, do they really give you horsey's??? Soundwise is it better than the TL's quiet luxury sound, or do they sound like a riceboy car???

I think the clear coat would just peel right off, once the exhausts get really hot, from the exhaust gases...It's not suppose to rust anyways, its stainless steel.

The instructions say to wipe off any grease, dirt, etc after installation or they will rust.

I'd like to know too.. they look so nice but I don't want them to be loud. A little is ok.
I don't think that they give any HP. Maybe 5 if you are lucky.

Maybe someone who already has them can give us some info.

Cool

They are not loud by any stretch of the imagination. Ask anyone, they sound so sweet at idle and they have a rumble like a muscle car when your going 60 and punch it But you definitely know that it's not stock. But not loud I assure you. Plus you get used to it

Sam,
Sounds good! When is it? hehe..

TL Daddy,
Thanks for the insight... I think I will get the exhaust now that I know they won't be too loud. Just nice.

Are they bolt on or does it require any welding?

Cool

Bolt on. Remove the two nuts on each of the stock mufflers (the bolts are welded to the stock pipes) and take them off the two rubber hangers. Put your new mufflers in the hangers and bolt them to the stock pipes using four new bolts that came with your Comptechs. They are an exact fit! Then just start your engine and see if you don't smile, like this

Yep. Seems very easy to steal! =Z I haven't had a chance to install the bastages, is it possible to adjust how far they stick out the rear or how much tilt they have (so they aren't pointing down)?
