my shifter in my 03' tl-s seems to have trouble. It is sometimes not to fluid when shifting from drive to park. A little hard to get it into park, doesnt flow into park (if that makes sense). Also sometime while driving it has a very quick (maybe half a second) the tranny or engine runs real rough. Could this be the dreaded tranny problem?

I had that to, and one day my car just got stuck in neutral, so i took it to the dealer. First time it was the linkage cable and that worked, then it came back and was the tranny.

uh oh, the beginning of they end for ur tranny, maybe i should consider getting rid of mine cause there seems to be alot of problems, i thought honda/acura was known for their reliability

i sometimes have a problem shifting the car into park..like the shifter resist it....i always thought it just the weird shape of the shift pattern...btw....how many miles does your car have?...and what exactly do you mean by rough sounding...like is it loud or like fast?...im not a very perceptive person so i wouldnt notice any of these things...i hope my car doesnt have these problems

We just got the TL and it does it if you don't push the pedal all the way down when putting it into park.
