they basically took the glass, and in taking the glass they took the clips and bushings that hold the mirror in place. so i went to the dealer got the mirrors at 34 bucks a piece, and had to order the bushings and clips which amounted to $55 bucks, with tax and all amount to clos to $125.

Anyone here read the article about 3 days ago in the newspaper about the school bus driver who staked out his car after it was broken into twice?? He sat staked out with binoculars and a rifle at night in the dark, and he actually caught the SOB trying to break into his car again!!! He chased the bastard down, shot him twice, adn teh guy ended up dying. Of course he is now facing murder charges for killing the guy who had spent practically all of his life in jail although he was in and out soo frequently even for violent offences he was put back out on the street quickly.

I am no advocate for Vigilante justice, but if I was on that jury, I wouldnt convict.

I'm sorry to hear another sad incident on our TL's. Why are our cars being targeted in the first place? I've heard of wheels, headlights, and badges being stolen on this forum. Now even side mirrors? Its not like our side mirrors are any good to begin with since they cause excessive noise. Since your side mirrors are stolen, i agree with what liutang said, "time to get the M3 style mirrors" to get rid of the excessive noise issue if you have one. I assumed your side mirrors are the same as 00-01, I may be wrong though.
