We had a about 4 inches of snow last night, and when i opened my door to get in the car this morning i wasnt even thinking. Snow got all over the drivers seat, on the side of the drivers seat where the controls are, all over the door panel under all the window switches, everywhere, ill tell you one thing my ass was wet as hell driving to work, cause i was already late. Do you think this snow will mess up anything eletrical in the door, or the controls on the seat, it was still snow by the time i got to work, but im sure it will melt by the time i get back in the car for lunch. Will the water, mess with the eletrical stuff, or should i be ok?

nah. it happens to me all the time. as long as you try to brush as much of the snow off as you can it will help. all the conections and switches are designed to handel it. i left my window open (about 2") and it rained all night. my door handle was completly full of water. my switches still work to this day (that was about 3 years ago)

ha ha..that happened to me this morning as we got snow too.

it was raining really hard one day, and all my controls got wet. Later when i started the car, it made weird whining noise when i drove, i turned off my engine, and came back later that day, and everything was fine, but like a month later had to get my controls replaced, b/c my winndows wouldn't roll up or down all the way, u hold the button an it goes up almost all the way and stop and u have to keep playing with it, then it'll go up like 2 min later...

I hate snow, this just happened to me yesterday too... we got like 4 inches here and I thought I brushed off enough snow, but then I opened the door and it gets erverywhere. This happenes every time and my leather is still lookin good.
