I did both the trunk torsion bar adjust and the ECU reset. My trunk opens maybe a 1/4 inch more with the OE spoiler. And I really didn't notice any difference in driving after resetting the ECU. And on top of that my "maint" light stays on now. Should I reset it or take it to the dealer and act like I don't know whats going on? BTW I have an '02 TL-S, w/o Nav.

 

U need to replace the spring with bigger one that is designed to use with spoiler.

 

You have to change the heavy duty torsion spring.

Why did you reset your ecu? Did you just install headers and intake or something? And just reset your light... it doesn't mean anything.
