I bit the bullet...
I placed my order for a TL-S, White Diamond Pearl, Non-Nav. It should be in 6/13. The Dealers here in Lousiiana were not coming more than $500 off the sticker. All the TLS' are pre-sold when they arrive. I was able to sell my vehicle (95 Avalon) to an individual for $9500. The dealer would have only given me 8k for my trade, and they are letting me run the sale through their dealership for sales tax credit so they're not total jerks. I get discouraged when I read about some of the better deals people are getting elswhere, but I'll get over it. The 2001.5 Passat came in second. For roughly the same price I feel I got a more reliable vehicle with more features and power.
