HVAC sound

When i'm in my car and I have the HVAC setting on auto it puts the fans at around the middle speed. At this speed a hear low pitch clicking sound (best way i can identify it). The sound gets louder as I increase fan speed. The dash is solid and there is nothing loose i'm just not sure what is causing this sound. It really isn't a click but for lack of better words...

Any suggestions?

either the blower fan is failing, or some leaves or other debris made its way through the air intake vents outside at the top of the car by the wiper blade arms and its now rubbing ever so slightly on the blower fan blades. You might have to get inside the vent box, behind the glove box, to clean it out.

this happened to me on 2 of my Hondas before. it turned out to be debris. set the fan at various speeds and hit the recycle feature a couple of times. give it a moment to fully adjust both ways. if something happens to be stuck in the vent against which the "recycle door" opens and shuts, this may knock it loose. this worked once for me but the other time i did have to get in the dash to clean it.
