anyone know why there is a hump on the floor in the middle of the rear cockpit ? my older cars had it for the driveshaft. Why do TLS have it ?

Strength. You want to make metal strong? Put a bend in it.

I'll vote for a combination of the previous 2 posts - strength and exhaust placement.

if ur not too tall(im 5'7, she was 5' ), the front passenger seat is great...all i have to say is the headrest provides great leverage when u grip it and w/that hole in the middle, she wont suffocate when her face is pressed into it

TL's come with a dead body!? Sweet.

Yeah, most likely exhaust and whatnot. But I don't see why it should be so freaking big. On another note, what's the diameter on the exhaust pipes on the TL-S?

And why exactly do you want to know the exhaust diameter now?

I've already tried it. It's actually pretty comfy.

...wait, you've "tried it" or you've done it? There's a difference.

If I am not mistaken, the hump is a structural thing. Can't be sure of this.

back to the subject at hand...i cant believe none of ya'll have gotten under the car yet! yes, it is structurally stronger, but it also allows a channel for the exhaust to run to the back of the car w/out being completely exposed/hanging under the car
