how to turn off the maintainence required light?

The manual is in front of me and on page 63 under the Gauges section it says this.

"If this (the 10K service) is done by someone other than your dealer, reset the indicator as follows.

1) Turn off the engine.

2) Press and hold the Select/Reset knob in the instrument panel, then turn the ignition switch to ON (II)

3) Hold the knob for about 10 seconds until the indicator resets.


Hope this helps someone out there.

 

^^^^ that's correct I have reset mine probably 5 times since I've owned my car.
