Cool How to Take apart the door panels...

I was telling myself to take apart the door for the longest time now so I could put some super dynamat in..so finally got a day off today..

Start by taking off the little clip that covers the screw.

Next Losen the screw in the middle where the hole is.

Next take off the clip that attaches the power door locks

The trickest part of taking the door off is taking off the metal piece that connects to your inside door handle. There is alittle tab, that you have to push aside then push the metal piece off the main piece.

After you take out the two screws out, you have to take losen all the tabs all around the door. Just pull the door really hard, but not too hard as to not break it. Then up have to push the door panel up and off the rest of the door. But you have to make sure you disconnect all the connections to the power windows and whatever you have there.

how long did that take you to do for each door? i wanted to get the BA or CF pieces to replace the stock wood but had second thoughts after people said you have to take apart the door and melt the plastic or soemthing..

Talking

It took about 10 minutes to do the driver's side door, the passenger door takes about 5 b/c there are alot less connections and wires, the two rears doors take probably 3 minutes a piece or less then that even.

i didn't notice any difference either, but it killed time today...so it's cool...

Dynamat is a sound deadner...it's suppose to keep the sound inside the car inside and the sound outside stay outside.
