How to reset Navi pin

Anyone know how to reset the Navigation Pin,I dont want to go to dealership unless all else has failed please assist me or direct me to someone or someplace that can assit thanks in advance

"If you hold map/menu/cancel for ~10 seconds, you get to the diagnostic screens. I believe there is a 'reset' type option in there. Clear RAM or something to that effect."

most dealers will give u the pin code for free if u ask, all u need is the serial number of the unit and the vin of the car usually

I think you are referring to the code re'd for operation, while G1313 is referring to the user PIN that one can set/ access thru NAVI options.

I would also like to know how to replace the latter, input by previous owner.
