How to Replace Escutcheon Plate

Can anybody tell me how to remove and replace the plate that surrounds the shifter (auto) that has the PRNDL markings on it? Does it just pry off?

Yes, it just pries off with a flathead screwdriver. Search shifter modification and something should give you a DIY on how to remove it.
