How to remove the HID bulb cover??

what year car?? Well on my 99 all I had to do is remove the torx screw and turn the whole cover and it comes off.

Yeah,

You have to remove torx screw first. You might want to get the same size torx screw driver from local warehouse, or just used small flat-head screw driver. That's what I used.

one side is clockwise, one is counter clockwise...and no its not dangerous unless you do something stupid
