How to post attachmnents

Why does it say this:

Posting Rules
You may post new threads
You may post replies
You may not post attachments
You may edit your posts

Why can't we post attachments like pictures?

Thanx.

You can post pics. I think that means you can't post direct links of pictures.

You can either type [img] your pic here [img ]. You need to copy and paste the URL from the properties into the "your pic here." Or you can just press the button with the mountain.

If you need to post pics you must have a website that will host the pic for you in order for you to link that pic to this forum.

yeah i always wondered about that.. in other big online forums/message boards, they have an "attach picture" feature when you create your own thread or reply message.. but this forum doesnt, for some odd reason.. i wonder how much webspace this site has and if they could support it though, especially with this many people on board.

i emailed the guys in charge of this site and stated that allowing attachments would cost alot more than now. therefore attachments should be held offsite and can be linked.

I'm glad you got the answers you were looking for!

If you need any additional info that doesn't pertain specifically to Second Gen TLs, please find the appropriate category (Ramblings - etc) and post there.

Thanks.
