According to Acura research, I am the median age TL owner (51). Actually, the car is for my wife but I drive occasionally when we go out with others. Doesn't come close to the fun of driving my Vette. My impression is that the TL was targeted towards mid-30s and up. Doesn't strike me that 20s and below would consider this much of a fun car. No flames please but if I were in that group, I would opt for the CL or the IS300--NEVER a 4 door luxo/semi-sport sedan like the TL.

Frank, age is state of physical and mental well-being. I'll be 37 in April, but I'm glad there's someone senior to me on this site. HA!

Looking at Social Security in a couple of years so all you "young whippersnappers" keep pumping that code or whatever you do that makes the big bucks. That way, there will still be money to help support me in my real old age.

31, getting married, but still want to mod the TL w/ wheels, headers and exhaust. Oh yeah, I listen to techno and trance in the car loud so no one start calling me Gramps or anything...

Theres nothing wrong with 4 door luxos/boats. The Audi S4 is a sedan. And the Audi RS4 Wagon can easily keep up vette Z06, if not beat it with a aftermarket ECU. The Subaru Impreza WRX, and Mitsubishi Evolution VI also have 4 doors, and they are known as the greatest rally cars. Even the Lexus GS series is a 4 door luxury sports car. Lets not forget the Nissan Skyline, which does come as a sedan. These are some of the world's greatest sports and luxury cars.

It just seemes that if a car has 4 doors, its not a sports car, because people always think of exotic cars.

The only reason why older people own more of these cars, is because most kids don't have the cash for one. Kids mostly drive new civics, neons, or a used car.

I know that my next car will be a sedan again. Besides, I hate it when the front seat has to be moved up so people can get in the back, assuming there is a back seat.

Besides the TL is better than the IS300 and the CL-S. It looks smooth and civilized, but can be made to look aggressive. IS300...hate the shifter and knob.

Hey age is just that number on your driver's license. Well, at least until you are 40 and things start to fall apart! j/k
Damn, all you under 20 year olds are freakin stylin! Enjoy it! I drove a bucket-mobile until I was 21 yrs old. But that makes me appreciate all the intangible gifts in my life alot more.

Think about your accomplishments.
Wisdom comes with experience.

btw, i just turned 24 last week.

Man... How dare you say that... I love the shifter and the freaking knob... The problem is that they don't belong to that freaking German wannabe Japanese car... They have the console and dash designed more or less like the Germans, and put an Italian shifter & knob in the car.. Just doesn't look right to me... I guess they didn't realize that even thought both German & Italy are in Europe, but they kinda have different taste... in terms of design...
