how much you guys spend
im a new acura TL owner and i was just wondering on average, how much u guys spend on modding your cars? seems like all u spend a whole shit load to do them all.

not that much, just keep in mind that you have to sell the car one day and all that money will have went down the drain. it is fun to do if you plan on keeping the car for a while though. just do it when you first get the car so you can enjoy ur mods for the longest amount of time.

even w/ the mods, wouldnt the value of the car be a little more when you try to sell it?

look at signature for list~ not too much. but enough to make the car look and feel significantly better I do have a long list of things i plan to get for the car but im a college student so real tight on money... it'll take quite some time to reach my goal haha. I'm sure you can relate cuz you are my age!

hehe i can defenitly relate... cash is kinda tight rite now w/ all these bills to pay n such and college to pay for and finding the time to work and make money, and girls, etc... lol
but yea, my goal for now is to find the oem kit, tinting, and spoiler FOR NOW... i guess but even then its gonna be a pain to make enuf money

good luck finding the oem kit (think it was you that made a thread about it? and i told you about Tim @ Ray Laks right?) haha. saving up is hard but when you use it to buy stuff u like it's so rewarding... so just take it easy with the moddin', it'll be fun as hell.

its very rewarding cus it took me a LONG ASS TIME to save money to buy my TL and boy... i love it to death heheheeh im glad i made the right choice to buy this instead of a honda accord... lol
yea it was me who started it, but every time i called, tim was never there or nobody ever picked up lol... i wonder if its jus me or nobody wants to sell me a kit

$2350 Rims (Axis Hiro 19"x8.5" +45 offset, i know they don't fit right dammit...)

ebay mann..... at one point this guy was selling mad kits just 2 months ago. i posted in threads with his info and a lowered price to get yall hooked up. but NO1 responded. so now i laugh when ppl are like i need a kit but i cant find one, so so sad.....
but there are a few kits in the black market right now that you could pick up and have re-painted.
just keep looking man, you'll find one eventually.

So far, in the last 2 or so years, I have spent a hair under 30K. I think when I tallied it up is was like $29,600 or so. I think I should be done in the next year, with a total of around $40K...still gotta beef up that engine and interior, and the brakes...as well as some new rims
