how much window tinting cost?
#2
All depends on quality of tint and workmanship. I would rather spend an extra hundred bucks and get it done by a veteran in the business than pay less and have it crap over on me. But on average , a quality job is around 200 bucks.

yep around 200 bux, but make sure that the people who do it have a special cutting machine, which cuts perfect cuts for a specific car's windows...If they do it by hand, chances are you will have a nasty gap close to the edge of a window.

woooo!!
$120 (no tax too!) for me.
but that was cuz i referred two friends (one to tint and the other for alarm) original price he threw at me was $140. maybe cuz of competition around here in los angeles... but damn the quality of my tint is EXCELLENT. and it even comes with lifetime warrenty
i say... shop around. ask for prices in your area and find the best deal. oh, and don't forget to BARGAIN!!! buy the manager a drink or donut, anything. it works.

THe machine is called Tek 20/20
Cost depends on where you live. Here in the Northeast, usually its 250 or so, if you want ceramic int (If you nav Navi) then it will be 300. So like everyone else said, look around at rpices, but you won't see too much variance in price from the places around you. If you see an irregularly low pirce somewhere, ask to see some work first.
Some tinters to the rear window in one full piece, no seams
Some tinters dont go all the way up the window on the sides, so when you put the window down half way, you see a strip of clear.
Some tinters Do the back in two pieces and there is a strip of clear across the middle of the back window.
THe best way to see if they are good or not is ask to see an example, look for seams, look for the tint going to the edge of the window.
Also, this is very important, make sure you get an appointment early in the day, preferably the morning. The reson being is that tint is a very timely process that requires alot of patence. Even tinters in the business for years, can still get really tired and sick of tinting after a while. If you get an early appointment, (Not first), but something like second or third, he will be warmed up from doing a car already, but he won't be so tired he'll just slap it on and call it a day.

low end tint places will cost anywhere from 100 to highend places reaching over 200. Most important things to look for are quality of work and tint, and warranty.
