I just got a 01 TL for 28000 + tax/lic about a month ago. If you were me, would you go for a 02 TL-S? (I honestly did not know about a TL-S when i got my car..)

if you trade in your TL i think you will loose at least 15%, i know you only have this car for a month, and probably don't have much milage on it.. but once it's considered as a "used" then it drop at least 15% even you only have the car for a day. That's what i heard, correct me if i am wrong.

If I were you, I wouldn't go for a TL-S. Just my opinion.

with the money you'll be losing(thousands!), you can easily purchase Mods to make your 01'TL faster and handle better!!! it may not be a TL-S but it'll spank it!!!!

Actually, I don't think its smart either, I was just wondering like how much I would loose. 15%, umm.. I really hard worked for this money, loosing 15% would make me cry. Maybe in 3 years or so..

Just enjoy your car and don't think about the "what if's" or that there is a car out that might be better. There will always be something out there that is one better than what we have. That's life. You've got an awesome car! Sit back, relax and enjoy it!

Don't do it. You will be losing too much money. Save your money for a future car. Who knows, the newer TL-S might be over 300 hp with 350 lbs feet of torque.

Right, exactly the money. I'd listen to everyone. It's kinda like buying a computer, as soon as you get one, tomorrow there is a better and cheaper one out.

Truthfully I dont really like the new TL. The front looks just like a CL, and forms a point in the middle. Not a big fan of it. I actually like the 99-01 better just in my opinion though

It's just like computers...you can buy the best one today and tomorrow there's a better model. You'll be upgrading for the rest of your life if you do that.

I thought I was bad. I was half thinking of getting rid of my 99 for a 2001 or 2002 just because I want the NAV. Even that's a little ponderous. Getting rid of a 01 for a 2002 is really messed up. You don't even know what you don't like about your 2001 yet.
