How much should this cost?

I need to get like 1 ding on the hood fixed and i need to get the hood painted and the new bumper painted. Around how much should that cost me? Also, my windshield has light scratches on it from taking off ice with out a appoved ice scrapper, does anyone know of anyway to remove those? Maybe rubbing compound? Thanks

shop around. you'll be surprised how much it varies from places to places. try to get some recommendations as well... cheap or expensive doesn't necessarily = good work.

My uncles best friend owns a body shop...he did it for me for $300. Hood and bumper. No blending though. He does good work. My uncle and I are pretty close so his friend has seen me grow up, but then again this is how he feeds his family...I don't think he gave me a deal so much as he just didn't jack up the price on me. Another thing to keep in mind is where you live. If I would have got it done at a body shop in the city or in an affluent suburb of New Orleans it would tend to cost more. He lives a ways out...where prices aren't so inflated.
