I'm seeling my car to buy an FX. It is a 2002 Agean Blue type S, non Nav. The miles are high, about 35,000 but it does have a cool new transmission. Is 22.8K a good price for a private sale???

Sold my 02 TLS w/Navi as a trade-in for $23000. It had 26700 miles.

 

dealer offered me 19500 said he would maybe go 20K. i've been checking and i think 22.5 maybe 22.8 is what i'll try for.

Trying to get private party value for your trade in is hard. If you do it, they will usually not haggle on the price of the new car. Cost to cost, or retail to retail they say. But try for 21. Best thing to do is negotiate trade in price after you have a solid price on the new car. Leaves the sales guy in a bad position, awww

BTW, u gettin FX35 or FX45? either way i hate you

 

I'm going with the fx35. the 45 was a bit too expensive. i have a friend who works for nissan and through and employee purchase program i get the car for $200 under invoice. the fx35 is great, with the 20 inch rims it looks sweet and the ride is outstanding.
