where did u get the chrome shift plate???

 

If you have a 99, just take off the plate and soak it in paint remover, then wash under warm water - tadaa

 

sweet.. i will d it when i get home. do i use a screwdriver to pry the thing off ? Mine has alota scratches n it. do u think this prcess will make them un noticable?

 

some members pried theirs with a screwdriver, I just stuck my fingers in there and pulled it off.

Its jammed in there, so pull hard

 

check out the price an edmunds tmv and then add about 1/4 of the price you paid for the modsif your selling it yourself. if you're trading into the dealer, they probably will not give you anything for the mods and may actually lower the price some. the kbb prices tend to be higher, but if you're selling it yourself then you may find someone willing to buy it at that price

I would think this would be a bad time. With all the 0% financing deals, people can buy new cars for as cheap/cheaper then some used cars. Also, since there are so many people buying cars, the dealers probably have a lot of trade-ins so you will get less for yours.

 

it's because dealers will do anything to get rid of their new car inventories right now... I've even heard of people being bought out of their leases at no cost to them. Prolly not on a S2K tho... you're going to pay what the dealer wants you to on that one. best of luck.

i went to honda and got a quote for trade in for my '00 for an s2k.. i came out i had to pay 17,000 more.. and they gave me 17,000 for my car. i decide not too since i just got extended warranty and i have rims, kit and stuff... but i still want a s2k so bad...
