Does anyone have this exhaust on their TL-S? Is the sound way different from stock or do you only hear the difference when you punch the gas?

To let you know exhaust always makes noise, but the intake doesnt make any noise until you get on it. Driving normal will sound normal.

The HKS have a deep growl that is louder than the Comptechs. Personally it depends on what you like. The HKS when I first put them on...gawd they were loud! My friend has an 01 TL with the CT exhaust on so we can compare. Driving wise...inside the cabin, it sounds like a jet engine behind you constantly from 1900rmp-2500rpm. You can feel the vibrations also. The CTs are at 86 decibals I believe and have a growl but much lower and you hardly feel it. It sounds much louder inside the cabin than outside. IF you can't stand constant bassy noise...I would go with the CTs because your gonna have a headache for awhile.

Thanks for the input. To tell you the truth I would just like to put the tips of the HKS and the heck with the rest of it. Im not crazy about loud exhausts. Is it possible to just get the tips?

Not sure about that...but the tip are BIG! Click my sig and check it out. It might look kinda wierd if you try to put it onto your stock cans. The HKS cans are huge so the tips go well with it. I don't know...to each his own.
