When you purchase 2002 tails, can you use the original harness?

The only problem using original harness is that the signal bulb won't fit perfectly. Socket is little bit smaller. But you just have to tape around the socket to hold it properly.

If I remember correctly, that's how i ghetto rigged my car when I bought Inspire tails.

 

That reminds me, why do we always call them either inspire tails or type-S tails. When really they come on even the the TL-P. I guess calling them "Bone Stock 02+ 3.2 TL tails" would sound a little strange.

I ordered my 02 Tails just recently and didnt get the harness either, i was also looking to tape it up. Anyway, in the past people talked about the fried egg look. I was this to spay pain the bulbs white . would that work, and what kind of spray paint should i use.

I have seen people use red transparent vinal on them or spray tint. On some colors I seem to like the solid red over the 02s. I think on dark colors 02s look so kick ass, but on my color, firepepper, i dont think it is that huge of an improvement.

Cuz back in the day when I got mine, they were Inspire tails, imported from Japan.

 

just use silver paint. a very light coat.

 

True!!! Before 02 model came out, we had to order INSPIRE tails from Japan which cost more than 400. :wow:
