I was just wondering How Many People actually did the one touch sunroof open and close mod, that Bebber posted a while back? And were you succesful?

I bookmarked the thread but becuase of the server upgrade I think the pictures and wiring diagrams are not there any more. Ne one have a copy of it that they can post up?

You'll need either 2 DEI530T if you want to control all 4 windows up and down, or just 2 DEI 529T if you just want to controal all 4 widows in only one direction.. up or down.

Now here is another question: What is the difference between a DEI 528 and a DEI 529T?

They are basically timer modules that emulate a switch being in the on/off position for preprogrammed amount of time. In this case, the switch being the window buttons in the down or up position for set time.

Same here, I understand it pretty much already. What I could definitely use is a diagram for the timer relays whether it is the dei 528 or 529 or even 530. I have a pretty good idea of the rest of it. I've searched forever but can not find anything.

I think I'll give it a try. With the correct timer relay it should be a piece of cake.

Be careful most people, as in professional alarm installers who have attempted this mod have given up, since for some reason they couldnt figure out, why upon closing the sunroof, the titl feature activated.

Bebber seemed to have found the solution for it, and had wiring diagrams. If you do figure it out... please enlighten us all. :o
