Arrow How many miles do YOU have?

I just wanted to know how many miles do other TL's have and how many miles do you think the TL can take until it dies?

I just got mine. It is a 1999 with 62k on it which doesn't help you but I saw a 99 on ebay for sell with 240k on it. The guy said he had just replaced the transmission and the engine still had many miles left on it.

Again I didnt see the car so I don't know any definates but just throwing in my two cents worth.

David

PS This is a great forum. I have only just joined and this is my first post but I have found many great answers here and ideas to "pimp my ride". I am excited to soon have photos to show everyone.

Not a lemon just drove the car long and hard as a salesman. No excuse there trannys are crap I only had to pay out of pocket for one. The dealer did me a favor and honored the tranny warranty on the salvage engine and tranny as he know what I have been threw with this car. Lots of miles I own a 2004 tl a-spec and still love driving the 99. The only year when you can shift 1-2 on your own. Hence 4 trannys.

02 TLS bought in July 01. Has 79K miles on it. It is actually in the shop right now getting its 3rd Tranny.

No 1 @ 24K

No 2 @ 73K

No 3 @ 79K

I don't think I will keep it much longer.

*SEVEN* miles!

I have *seven* miles on my TL! Or - I will have 7 miles on it when I take delivery on it TONIGHT!!

I'll miss my 2001 CL-S, but it had 130,000 miles on it. Still is great shape, though!

Jim
