Post How many hours for dealer...

I wanted to know how many hours I should expect for a dealer to install springs and sways at the same time.

I need to know what to expect laborwise so I have some ammo in case they disagree.

Probably two hours. They have to really tear down your car for the springs... take out the rear seats, etc. Sways should take 45 minutes MAX.

The dealer is going to charge you for how many hours the service manual says it takes to do the job. Seems like it was 3-4 hours for the springs.

The book time is about 1 to 1 1/2 hours for the sways and 4 to 5 hours for the springs. You are better off going to a reputable shop to get it done for cheaper.

park ave acura charges 3hrs for labor on springs install and 1hr for labor on sways. So if you get both installed plus an alignment you are looking at $350 plus tax and they even give loaner cars.
