How hard is it to install the aftermarket wing?

I have an '02 TL Type S with no wing but I want to add one. I looked on spoilerdepot.com and they look nice. If I order one, how hard is it to install myself?

pretty easy. just need to drill acouple holes. tape the area thats to be drilled and when you get every thing lined up right, and marked drill the holes. then take some touch up paint to the bare holes after it dries mount the wing

You need to drill 5 holes. 2 for bolt holes on the each side, one additional for the wiring. If you get aftermarket spoiler, the 3rd brake light has 2 wires (red for + & black for -). You just need to hook those wire to the brake wire.

much easier to go with the wingswest spoiler, it is nicer and looks better, also no wiring needed. Also I do not think there is drilling necessary. That would be the best and cheapest bet for you.

I installed my "OEM" spoiler last month. It was really easy b/c our cars already have the premarked ID locators.

Read this thread:

http://www.acura-tl.com/forum/showth...hlight=spoiler

There is a link from the Ac. dealer that shows how to install this spoiler.

This is my spoiler installed.
