Dude you avatars are crazy...... anyway, when you find a way to remove the speed limiter let me know, cause Id like to do the same..... its probably an ECU thing...

The last time I tested mine I was on a country road during the summer of 2005. The road was a 2-lane and straight as far as you could see. I hit between 145 to 150mph and whoa....it felt soooo good!! There was no traffic at all!! I wanted to know if my car had a limiter because it feels so powerful as if I could outrun anything....and it's stock....WOW!! BTW, I still don't know if my car has a limiter, but now since I've just had the transmission replaced, I'm not sure if I want to find out!

man i wish id have topped out my 01 TL when i was still driving it, but now im driving a 99 AV6 and the fastest ive been is 135 then the speed limiter sucked me back down to 120

i put my car on 130mph as well is nothing i think that tl-p guages are messed up for the simple fact that his drivers door is up and i know the sensor is not messed up look at the car icon on da guages..... GET IT FIXED QUICK because when im like in 1/4 my gas light turns on....

I got up to appx 147 back in the day, downhill and the cutoff scared the shit outta me when it kicked in...this was before I had the HR springs and 19s..needless to say, the car felt very light and I would feel better doing that again with those mods to keep the car lower to the ground at that speed. Going from CO to GA, I feel like my car gained a ton of power coming from high to low altitude. I know in denver, it is 40% less oxygen than sea level, so I feel like I got a whole new car now!
