I've only gone approx. 110. Not enough open road around here. Car feels stable at that speed.

I think i hit about 148 149 MPH. The speedo was right at 150, my rpms were at 56-5700, I have a 99 with only a ww kit and weapon R intake. The car was still smooth I never went below 115mph for about half an hour.

Wouldn't want to get a speeding ticket at those speeds. Probably also get charged with reckless driving, and loose your license.

On a clear 3 lane stretch of I-10 when no cars were in the lanes next to me:

The car is pretty quick up to 115mph and then it crawls in 4th gear.

Damn, the RPM is awefully low for that speed. I bet you can take it to like 150+ if it allowed you to.

Question

WOW i can't believe your tl can ran 130mph at 4500 rpm. do you have any aftermarket goodies on the car? it's great that a sedan can have such power!! if you take it to the redline, it can hit 150mph+!!

I have hit 120 a couple of times in my cl-s. i had to lay off the sdpeed cause i always do it on my way back from los olas riverwalk at 3 am. its not the greatest time to do it when there are always druck drivers on the road. I am also still brakin my baby in, she only has 6000 miles on her. 150 is very easily in the near future.

I'm feeling sorta wimpy; The first time I had it on the open road (between Madison and Chicago) I got it up to just over 100 (with 3 passengers). It was shortly after passing a brand new M5... It felt like 65!

I can't wait for a better opportunity; I'm heading to the White Mountains for T-day, and I'm hoping for some empty highway on Thursday morning!

I can't believe TLBoston was going that fast on I-95. I hope the road was empty.

AC, yeah, it can go a lot faster if i had enough road, but i was on a small city street weaving in and out of people. if i could just get a good clean stretch of highway.

Well the hard part is looking through the viewfinder while you try to steady the camera with both hands and steer with your knees. You have to listen carefully so that whenever you hear the tires running over the reflectors you know to steer more to the other side.

I hope those were reflectors I was running over while I was taking the picture. Hehehe... Of course I'm just kidding... I already had the camera turned on and sitting in my lap... All I had to do was reach down for a split second aim at the dash, squeeze, and drop the camera back in my lap while I let off the gas and slowed back down to saner levels of speed. Believe it or not, if there isn't any wind, steering the car with one hand at 130mph isn't any more difficult than if you are driving 70mph. Its just scarey because in the back of your mind you are thinking, "If a dead cow falls out of the sky in front my car, I'm gonna be DEAD meat..." or "If one my tires blow out, I'm gonna be one long wet spot on the road!"

I also had my Eibach springs installed before I ever went faster than 125mph... the car feels "less than stable" at 120+mph speeds with the stock springs in the V6 Accord. I guess with a lower center of gravity the car feels more stable at higher speed since less air is traveling underneath the car.

Its a nice 20 something mile stretch b/w Beaumont and Houston. It also has a nice concrete divider in the middle with wide shoulders on each side of the three lanes.

On average friday night ( 3 to 5 am), i hit around 100 to 110 on I-95 in Philly. Twice driving to Harrisburg I floored it and hit around 147 - 148! I couldn't believe myself! Damn, our TLs are fast when you push them.
