no antenna because you are not receiving a signal, rather sending....i doubt you can extend it.

I think your problem is not the car but the garage door opener because I can open mine from at least 300 feet away. Check the wire that goes out from your door opener and see if there is a problem.

but for every other car even the damn remote that comes with the gargae, range works wonderfully, it just with my car it doesnt work that great, where is the actual homelink antenna at anyone know?, and yes there is an antenna, and homelink does recieve signal as the rolling code technology requires it, not to mention when you program the remote you have to press it for the homelink to learn....but yeah, maybe that well be my next tinker to extend the range with a repeater or something , i just need to know ehere its located at. thanks

If my car is moving, I can open my garage from the street, if I come to a complete stop (even if I'm next to the garage) I have a hard time opening it. <shrugs>

I hear ya too on the TL Homelink range; in fact, the Homelink range on my Yukon XL is better than that of my TL-S...

The other thing that sucks about the TL Homelink is that the buttons aren't even backlit (dunno about '03-on; mine is an '02) so it's slightly frustrating to find the correct button at night--note, I'm not talking about the itty-bitty red transmit light that's above the center button on the TL, which doesn't do you much good as far as finding the button itself since it only lights up when you press the button.

It's the car's homelink

My Nissan 02 Max had it and I could open my garage when I pulled into my neighborhood (two blocks away). Same goes for the keyless entry/trunk. I could open my trunk when I left my building at work, now I need to be about 12 feet from my car.

You may want to think about reprograming it, just erase it and start over. Your freq. may be off just a mano. somtimes you`ll get more distance after reprograming. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Good Luck!
