Question How do you keep your painted brake calipers clean?

I just finished painting the calipers yesterday with G2 and I must say it looks awesome! It was a lot of hard work though... anyways, I was just wondering, for everyone that has their brake calipers painted, how do you guys keep it clean and glossy? I mean, after all that freakin hard work, I want that thing to last forever :p

I used the foliatec kit and mine have never gotten dirty, i guess when i take it to the car wash a quick spray helps them stay clean but they r always pretty clean even though i don't go to a car wash.

Yeah.. I use a little rim cleaner on a rag and wipe em through the wheel...

Then when I switch tires winter/summer I give it a good scrubbin...Mine are 2 yrs now and still look ok.. (could use a little touch up in spots)

How long has it been since you painted them with G2? How is the quality holding up? Its suppose to be life time warranty so I guess que glossiness is suppose to last till the car dies right?

Sadly ... my calipers are showing the signs of age ... ever since I got my tires rotated / slapped on new tires ... chips on the front calipers.

As for brake dust, etc... take a soft sponge or cloth and some soap ... comes off in a snap.

I did the Foliatec paint to the calipers in the summer of 2002. So they're 2 yrs old and chipped. Unless you go up close, you can't see the chips.
