Are you talking about the scratches on your clear coatting? If you are, those scratches probably came from improper car washes and I don't think you'd be able to take those out because the more you try to buff it out... the worse it will probably get. I wanted a black because I loved the way it looks at night (when it is clean and shiny), but instead, I got mine in T. White due to the fact that I knew scratches would be more obvious on black cars.
Perhaps there are some other members from this board may be able provide you the infos on some "miracle compound".

I got a black 02 TL and there's really no secret in getting rid of those swirl marks. Waxing the car you might take some out. Like the earlier guy said, you get them from washing the car. I can only recomend two ways to highly decrease the amount of swirls you gonna get on the car:
1. if you go to car washes, use only the ones that are brushless
2. if you wash the car yourself then wipe the car with a rag applying water at the same time, the point is never to wipe when the rag/cloth is dry. even if its 100% cotton, it will leave swirls or scratches.
Anybody in the Brooklyn or Staten Island area, I got 2 hand car washes that I recomend especially the one in Staten Island. Contact me if you need name and location.

Black car is a pain in the a$$ to keep clean but it looks great when cleaned.
Every car will have swirl and other marks but only the black will show it more.
As a matter of fact, my next car is going to be black also.:p

I agree very much. Try using a chamois to dry your car instead of cotton towels. Microfiber towels are alrite but not as good as a chamois, those work the best i think. But it takes awhile to dry it though.
