How do you carry a surfboard in your car without a roof rack

OK i really dont want to attach the hood rack to my car, unless it doesnt screw in any where and doesnt damage the paint

Otherwise how the hell do you fit it without uninstalling the rear seat ? Acura was smart enough to give us an entire 8" hole to put a set of skis in lol, they couldnt go the extra 1/1000 of a mile and made the seats fold down.

Anyways fo you think I could get away with putting it in the back seat floor then leaning it out the sunroof? Or putting it in the passenger seats and leaning it backwards out of the sunroof ?

I have a thule rack for my bikes. No scratches on the car whatsoever. But be sure to clean it before you put the rack on and a good waxover..

I fit my 7'5 surfboard into a 2000 3.2 by sliding the passenger seat all the way back and then lowering the back of the seat as much as possible. I had to do the same to the drivers seat in order to put the board in the car and then slide the nose as far in as possible before putting the tail of the board in the car. I dont think i could have done it with a board much bigger than 7'5....also remember to put a towel down to whe wax doesnt get on the leather. Good luck.

CHECK what i do.
i got 2 boards. a 6'1 and a 6'4 and i can fit both at the same time...like this:

1)Put the front passenger sit a bit back and recline slightly
2a) Slide board thru rear driver side door, across over the passenger seat and rest ontop of the glove compartment...IF IT FITS
2b) If it doesnt, open the passenger side window and let the front stick out a bit and INcline/move forward the passenger seat to make the board stay there.

FINS are always looking to the front of the car and put towels under the board/fins to protect that fine leather!

NO RACKS...= shitty, guetto and expesive solution.
