Question How do I store my car?

If I am gonna be out of town for 2 months, what should I do to my car before I leave so things dont go bad? Am I supposed to unhook the batterY? I'm worried that this will not allow me to use the alarm. And also what other things can I do to make this less stressful for my car?

thanks

if u keep the car inside a garage then u should crack the window, fill the fluids and disconnect the negatvie battery... if the car is gonna sit outside then u should fill the fluids, disconnect the neg battery and cover the car.... if there is no cover and u need the alarm on just leave the battery and pray the car starts when u get back... may need a little jump tho..

I don't think you need to do anything that much. I think fiil the gas tank. It also depends on how old your car is & the condition of your battery. If your sure you will just only be gone a few months. The battery should be fine if its a year or two old. I would put a few extra pounds of air in the tires. This should be about 4pounds extra than correct tire pressure. If the car is going to be stored outside uncovered get a sunshade & wax the car good.

I am going to have one month vacation too. I am just thinking the bird drops are too anonying. I don't know if the car cover is a must if I park outside.

If you're gonna park your car for a month in Philly - bird poop is the least of your worries.
