I know there are 3 bolts behind the triangular piece on the door to detach the mirror from the door. But once the mirror is off, how do i remove the rest? I'd like to access the space where the motor sits (ie, behind the mirror) Thanks!

 

Did you look at the bottom of the mirror housing to see if there is a hole or two to put a screwdriver in? Those holes are also for water drainage.
