Acura TL'99 120k.

My starter start doing following things: When I start engine, it clicks couple times then stop. I hited couple times with the hammer, it starts click again when ignition key in position start engine. i change battery no fix. I think starter goes down.Then one person constantly hiting and another trying to start a car, after 10 sec engine on.
Need Help:
how to change starter and How difficult is it?

Its Very easy. Disconect the battery. If you look down below the battery where the tranny meets the engine you will see the battery. You dont really "Have" to remove any thing, but removing the battery and battery tray will make it easier.

I just change starter solenoid. It's easy. If anybody needs direction how to change solenoid on Mitsuba CM-44201 starter email me.The company called WagnerAlt.com sell them thru dealers. One of like this dealer called the Barsanco, Inc. phone 586-755-1491. Warger p/n W455-87. It took me about 2.5 hour to change solenoid. You will need sockets 17mm, 10mm,13mm and 5/16., screwdriver bits #2 and #3 or #4. Don't waste your money on a brand new starter if you can spend only $40 with delivery and 2.5 hour your time.
