How about the Venom400

I haven't seen too much information on this, but I was wondering if anyone on here has actually tried this out and if they did, what did you think of it? It's under $300 on eBay and I was wondering if this seems like a good deal or a scam. THANKS!!

I don't believe they make an application for our car (distributor-less engine)

i put out a post on that, and apparently it works, but its only made for the '99TL. bdv's link 2nds this and if you look on google you'll only find it for the TL still cheaper than bdv's link.

bdv, get one. It wont give you 25% more hp but somewere around the 15(tlp) and over 20(tl-s). All it does it change your air/fuel ratio and something about the vtec engagement... you will also burn more fuel=less milage, but you WILL get notizable power...

O, and if you dont wanna have it on all the time,,, theres an Off swith, back to stock and turn on just to run.

your on a '99, i dont think theres a VAFC for our model nor is there an AEM V2. theres a mod process to make an '00V2 fit our '99.

anyway you look at it, intake is better hp, better milage, better sound, better looking at a better price...

Instead of the VENOM, get it tuned. A friends' dad who owns a '01TL got it dyno tuned in their friends store (frnd w/ frnd who has a frnd with a frnd...heh) and the're sheet said he was pushing 232.xx hp@xxxxrpm to the wheels (270+@crank) and it cost him $150. TL-P stock=180something hp to wheels.

I asked him if he could get that dud to tune mine. Oh, it doesnt void your warranty since you arent replacing any parts not will it damage your engine/elctronics, makes the engine more efficient. and you'd still have the governor=legal.
