i just got my venom400 used... it did not came with a wire harness to connect to the TPS signal wire and MAP signal wire so i'm manually hooking them up...

Now i'm confused cuz there are 2 wires on the venom, a light green one and an orange one.. does anyone know which wire goes to TPS and which one goes to MAP???

 

i dont know if u got a I4 or v6, but the tps is green and the map is orange. the venom doesnt come with a harness, u have to tap into the oem wiring. i dotn remember the colors of the oem wires, but i do know that venoms instructions were wrong. i straightend it out with them like 2 years ago so hopefully they updated their install guide. i cant upload my pics to my server. oh well. if u need em ill get them another day i guess

 

I've got I4.. um.. if itz not too pain in the ass... ya would u post up pics??

it sucked when i was stock, but after i/h/e it throws you into the seat. it definitely does something. no matter how hard i floor the car with it off it doesnt accelerate like when its on. when i finally get a cam gear and or cam shaft i will dyno it on and off to see what exactly its doing. python injection makes many quality products so i dont see why the venom would be any diff. also if you have an auto like myself the car shifts better

I think its too jerky for daily use...But then again the 3.0 engine has more power, so yours might not be as jerky as mine.

 

I'm not sure if this thing really works... NE-one has access to a dynanometer?? would like to dyno my thing and once for all confirm for myself and every1 else if this thing works or not.. at least for accords...

 

agreed. thats why i only use when i feel like wasting more gas and gettin of the line quicker. 360 days of the year its off

 

whats the model # on the venom for v6 cls?

 

The model for the 3.0 cl is V10-101.
