how about this extended warranty deal?
I just called my dealer about the extended warranty for my Acura TL (1200 miles). The price is
7year/75kmiles:$1100
7year/100kmiles:$1495
Seems more expensive than WarrantyGold.com.
What do you guys think?
Thanks.

I got mine: 5yrs/100k, zero deductable for about $1k total with tax from the dealer.
Shop around... it doesn't matter what dealer you get it through... so pit them against each other so you can get the best price. Personally, I decided to go through Acura b/c the prices were so close.

Thanks for the reply. Is yours 5year/100k or 7year/100k?

To give you some perspective.
I paid $900/$50 deductible for the one on our Land Cruiser that will take it to 100K miles. The $0 deductible would have cost me an additional $300. This is a Toyota extended warranty.
My reasoning was that as reliable as Land Cruisers are, I won't be taking it in that much and as a result, can absorb $50 for a visit or two.
I bought it mainly to protect against big ticket items.
