Just wanted to see who is up for a south florida meet for December 2, 2000. I am about 15 minutes away from the Fort Lauderdale convention center and was wondering if you guys would be in for a TL meet for the show. I think it would be great opportunity for all the TLers to showcase our wonderful cars. Let me know who is interested and I can attempt to get some rates on hotels. And I got the hook ups for the night life as well.

stylin silver: how much did it cost you to get the TV and tuner and the install cost? What's the total price and how long did it take to get everything put in and working?

I was in Florida a month ago for the first time, loved it. I was in Clearwater beach, Fabulous!!!! I will definitely come back to Florida. Whenever.

wow, s.c. i'd say roughly about 10+ hours easy... keep in mind the plus... florida itself is about 8 hours just from jacksonville... so if you can make it down here, that'd be great.

Blaze - Don't matter if your TL is stock it will still be fun to get a whole bunch of TL owners together.

Nyrep1 - Its about 13 hours, if you dont want to drive i suggest checking out some cheap flights. I know southwest is VERY reasonable and you maybe able to get some online fares even cheaper.

Bdimc2001 - Regarding the cost of my system, my buddy who owns a stereo shop hooked me up so I have no idea what the retail cost would be, but I am sure it would be up there. Dude, If you can come down we would love to have you. I suggest an online ticket or Southwest. You cant go wrong.

Now we just have to get Tim to come with us. What do you say Tim....?

TIGHT! Finally got some good responses for the meet. I suggest we meet at Hooters at Riverfront. We all have some drinks and meet each other then cruise over to the convention center in a convoy of TL's! Riverfront is a cool hangout and gets pretty jumping at night. I am making a list of all the people that are going.

One other thing...Please let me know if you need a hotel room. I can be of assistance.

OK, I am getting pumped at this turnout...at last count there 16 are people going showing interest! I have written down all your email addresses and will send out an email with details. The event is Saturday, December 2, 2000. If some of you want to come into town on Friday that means more partying and cruising in the TL's.

I was thinking that Friday night we head over to Riverwalk and the downtown Ft. Lauderdale area and chill at a place where even the under 21's can have fun. Like Hooters or something equivalent. Then on the day of the meet I suggest we meet early, like around 4:00 so we can take some nice pictures of our cars. Then a little party at one of the hotel rooms and off we go to H.I.N.!
