My TL 2001 had a horrible scratching noise in the morning just after pull out my car to drive. It came from front left, and only heard for about 2 seconds. I stoped my car and start again and this noise is gone. I wonder this is brake pad signal when they were out of changing cycle. My car has 60,000 miles on it. Thanks in advance for your advise.

If your car has 60K miles on it and you never had brake pads changed, then it is a pretty good sign that it is your brakes. You should hear the brake indicator everytime you brake at slow speed for a second or so.
