yesterday i tried to honk my horn and it didnt work! i know for a fact it worked the day before because i remember honking at somebody i knew but it wont work now.... i got new tires put on at a jeep dealership and they check it out to see if it was a fuse or a wire and they couldnt figure it out... so i have to wait till next week to take it to a guy that works on hondas and acuras... anybody have any ideas or know of this happening to other people??

Try hitting the panic button on your remote. Horn work? This will tell you if it's the horn button on the wheel itself, or the actual horn.

did you check the two connectors right in front of the radiator? i actually found out today that the horn works with just one (either connector) plugged in because one of them was unhooked for some reason.. now my horn is twice as loud!

Look at the horn relay in the fuse box under the hood. Try unplugging it and plugging it back in. That what happen to me once and it worked after I did that.

nevermind... got it checked out today by a guy who works on hondas and acuras, he went through all the wires and found that the "clock spring cable reel" in the steering column has to be replaced... which is gonna run me around 300 dollars and some change... : ( anybody have any other suggestions?

Push button! I had an old truck with a horn problem and I hooked up a push button and mounted it near the floor and used it with no hands! I am sure there is a place you can mount it high enough that it won't get pressed all the time.

one is a higher frequency tone than the other, thats why theres 2 and thats why an acura horn doesn't sound like a hyundai (meep meep)

I had this same issue in previous car and replaced clock spring myself you can get the clock spring for about $52 from online Acura dealers parts places. The removal of the steering wheel is not that hard you might need a special tool my friend just smacked the steering wheel off. I did replace one again in my GF car and the horn still does not work I believe it might be a ground issue now.
