Hood shocks
autozone, advanced auto, pepboys, strauss auto, u get the idea, any auto part store,.. just have to find which one fits your car ( take your stock one in the store with you ) ... to take them off u need a flat head screw driver, it looks like a "cap" on the end, pry it open with the screw driver the shock looses its suction and pops right off ( if it doesnt slide right off just pull it it will come right off ) ... very very easy thing to do.. and to install them, the *caps lol have to be open, push the shock one end at a time onto the little ball or watever u have to attach to on your car, then push the little cap part closed,.. the end =P lol goodluck its simple
RockAuto has good prices on these replacements. You can get heavier duty ones too. Install is very easy, intuitive once you look at it. Good luck!

Don't go OEM on the hood struts. They will fail again, as they don't last long.
Mine lasted about ~50k, which isn't too bad. Still, aftermarket ones will last much longer.

hmmm...I went oem, but if the aftermarket ones will last longer, I'd go with that....
got tired of the damn thing coming down on my head. install takes 5 minutes and a flathead screwdriver.
