Hood/bumper prices

I was trying to get an idea on what it is going to cost for a new hood and front bumper?
I checked on the acura parts site and was guessing that those prices are alittle high bumper was about $250 and hood $500
Also how much will it cost to paint and install?

Thanks again.

On acuraautomotiveparts.org, the hood was listed at $467 and the bumper was $231. Those are the cheapest prices that I know of for OEM parts. As for painting it, you would need to get a quote from a couple places in your area and find the cheapest, but make sure they do a good job, and make sure they match the paint.

FYI-the website above will not ship those parts to you because they are to big, I'm just trying to give you an idea of price.

Also how do i know they are getting good parts is there a difference in hoods that they can order, what should i look out for thanks

If your unsure of what they are ordering have them order oem parts, or order them yourself and bring them in

Most body shops get their stuff from places like partstrain.com the hood is $327 and the front bumper is $159

OEM... I ordered some parts (front/rear bumper covers and hood bill after shipping was $450) for my civic a year ago they ship fast and in one big box (so you may want to have them delivery to the shop that is doing the work)

A bumper (as most people call it) is actually a bumper cover. When you take the bumper cover off, the metal "frame" i guess you would call it, is actually the bumper.
