Actually I was sitting with the car on and in park. I heard a cracking noise for maybe 3 secs and looked around. Before I realized it, the branch, along with a few power lines was on my roof. Its pretty big, I dont know if you can tell but it takes up the entire street. After it happened I had to move my car from underneath which caused even more damage to my paint

This happened to a buddy of mine, fortunately it was an old Bronco beater.

In his situation, it happened at his house. The car insurance co said it was a home owners insurance issue.

I can't see the pics so I'll be optimistic and say good luck with the repairs.

Well Im still waiting for the adjuster to come take a look at it. I still owe that damn 500$ deductable though. Hey maybe I can sue? When the Fire Dep got there they told me the Parks Dep was supposed to chop down a few trees on that block but didnt get to it yet. I just happened to be parked accross the street the night before

it's gonna be hard to get money from the city. I actually got paid off by the contracted tree trimmers that worked for the city. All the city did was push the case over to the Tree Trimming company.

I'm sorry bro that was the joke I always said because I was stupid and backed into a tree stump. I am really sorry that happened to your car and I hope you get every cent in repairs back!

Hmmm, was this in Queens also? I always park near this tree since my friend's next door neightbor is a bit anal about others parking outside of their house and damn that tree scares me because it is slanted and looking like its going to fall one of these windy ass days.
