Whose got the highest----any probs to date??

 

I think I am third or fourth. I have close to 55K miles on my 99 TL. No major problems so far.

 

It's probably Dhiren (Stylin Silver Sled). He hasn't complained about anything on his car....AND he has NOS.

I'm on the low side 20,900 purchased 7/99.

got mine 10/98 (at the end of the month)
80k.....only real big problem was transmission had to be replaced at 58k

 

that is a big problem -- did acura end up paying 4 it?

 

yeah....even though i was off warantee they took care of it. the bill that they showed me (that i didnt have to pay) was somewhere in the neighborhood of $4500. ridiculous.

 

Just hit 50k

 

bought mine 5/99.......got 59K and tranny replaced at 32K

 

Little different subject but It seems like lots of 1999 TL's had transmission issue

40K miles.

brakes warped...and a bunch of other small fit and finish issues that were replaced under warranty

nothing major

 

Got mine in 5/2000 now there's about 34k on it,,, so far no problem in the engine... and I just got my 30k maintainence.

 

No problems here either. I heard the opposite, that a lot of 2002's have transmission problems.

BTW, 99 TL with 55K miles and no major problems.

 

I bought mine in 6/00. I have about 22K miles on it so far.

it's not a high mile TL yet... but I thought I'd contribute my vote as well. My miles are kinda low cuz I didn't drive for a couple of months when I was out of state on business trips.

Anyhow, I have not had any problems yet. Just a little bit of rattling from the cluster gauge area and also moon roof area when the inside roof is open. I have not had any problem with my transmission either. (I'm always in the SS mode when I drive.)

 

bought mine early 99 and I have 39,640 on it. I don't know why but I have had problems with my tranny, overheating, warped pulley, and a SH1T load of fit and finish problems. I still love my car though, my baby
