High Beam HID Retrofit
Sup guys,
Is there any way that the high beams can be retrofitted with HID's? I know that the fog lights can be retrofitted, but was wondering about the high beams as well

They can be but its a PITA to Flash other People in Highway!
Since HIDs need to Charge before put all Light Output you cannot flash FAST enough without damaging the Bulb and The Ballast! So you need to engage the High Beams for 15secs before Shutting down to prevent Damaging the Bulb Lifespan.
Been there, Done that.
I Recommend 5K for High Beams its Awesome!

why are you flashing people on the highway?
our stock high beam lens sucks anyway
Install some GOOD aftermarket driving lights for real view of roadway,
place on lower grill below bumper for best effect
fog light to hid can be good for dark backroads fun
5000k bulbs everywhere are my preferred lighting conditions

If it's more output you're looking for, I'd recommend either retrofitting your current headlights with an OEM projector and consider using a bi-xenon to allow you to have the option of flash to pass not to mention an immense amount of output when high beams are engaged! Retrofitting your headlights is also a great way to improve the look of your vehicle and give it that "one-of-a-kind" appearance. I'd also recommend researching two websites if you want to explore this option:
1. hidplanet.com for more information/advantages of retrofitting.
2. Theretrofitsource.com as the ultimate source for parts/supplies.
Another simplier option would be to install some 100W halogen bulbs into the high beams. Because they're halogens, you can flash to pass as much as you want! It is suggested that you upgrade your wiring/connectors to run higher wattage bulbs due to pulling double the amperage as a standard bulb would. I would go with namebrand bulbs because lighting is definitely one of those things where you get what you pay for. I myself only use Hella brand bulbs. They're a German based company and are used as OEM bulbs by Audi, VW, BMW, Mercedes as well as many other high end cars.

Becouse not all People turn their High Beams down when Im coming down the Road? What you do to make Oncoming traffic to lower their High Beams?
Also you dont Flash other people when You pass them?...
For those 2 Actions you Need to FAST FLASH High Beams, Using HIDs makes it Hard to Do it.....

I rarely use high beam while driving; however, a factory bi-xenon system would be perfect. I was thinking about replacing the oem high beam with HID kit but then it is the same bulb with the DRL, so I gave it up due to some horrible experience I had long time ago.
