high beam bulbs
one kind is made by sylvania called "cool blue" the bulb itself has a blue coating on it. however, its does not match the color of the TL's headlights since the bulb is not a true xenon bulb. i believe someone on this board tried this brand and said the same thing.
All hyper-white bulbs will have that effect...won't be the same, but will have a slight blue tint....ie.Nokya, Naxos, Piaa...

Well from what I heard, the HID lights on the Acura TL are 4250K. That is the measurement of "whiteness" of the light.
A regular halogen bulb is aprox. 3200K, a piaa superwhite is 3800K, and the Cool Blues are 3500K.
Just find a superwhite or plasma bulb that has a Kelvin(K) rating of 4150-4300K and it the color should match quite well. Although the color matches, it would not be as bright as the HID in any way.
TL's HID is 4150K, BMW's HID's are 4350K therefore you the "blueish" effect, caus eit's beyond white. Which isn't too good cause blue gets absorbed in the road while driving in the rain.
I'm also going to Asia this Christmas, I'm going to get some of the Plasma bulbs from PIAA which are not available in North America in 9005 or 9006. Those should match perfectly.
