HIDs

Does the second generation TLs come with HIDs standard, and if so is there any way I could change them to regular Halogen lights. I love my car but am getting really stressed out over the fact that my lights have being stolen over and over and over again. Could anybody help me out? I'm in the NY NJ CT area.
Thanks

Yeah they are standard, but you know something? Changing them to halogens probably would just decrease your chances SLIGHTLY. If they see your car parked, the are just going to assume that they are HIDs since they are standard.

Just put a sign on your window: "No HIDs here" Just like in the past people would put up a sign saying "No radio" lol

Yup. Consider investing in an aftermarket alarm or just get shock sensors.

replacing them with halogens will not do anything, people will always see the TL has having hids, even if you put the halogens they will get taken, it would suck for the guys taken them tho

Throw some shock sensors on them and hook up the alarm to the horn to create more attention. I think Escalades are also hot for their HIDs so we arent the only ones.

Park your car in a way to limit access to your front
